Creating an API key in Shine is easy, follow this guide can create as many as you want.

With Shine, you can easily create API keys so that your accounting programme can be integrated with other software programmes, such as a web shop or cash register app.

Create the API token (access key)

  • Go to Settings ⚙️

  • Select API tokens

  • Click on Create API token

  • Enter the name and description

  • Click on Create

You can now copy the access key and use it in the programme you wish to integrate with.
