Manage multiple users and organisations in Shine

Learn how to invite collaborators to your organisation and manage multiple organisations from a single Shine account.

General practices

Shine makes it easier for business owners and their teams to work together and manage multiple businesses.

With multi-user support, organisation owners can invite other users to collaborate within their organisation. Specific roles and permissions can be assigned when inviting users, allowing business owners to delegate administrative tasks while maintaining control over access.

With multi-organisation support, business owners managing multiple companies can access and manage their organisations using one login and from one place.

Invite users to your organisation

Organisation owners billed through Shine can invite team members to collaborate directly in Shine Facture.

When inviting a new user, you can assign a specific role and permissions. This determines what the invited user can access and manage within the organisation.

This can be useful when you want to delegate administrative or invoicing tasks to employees or other collaborators without giving them unnecessary access.

Manage multiple organisations

If you manage more than one company, you can add multiple organisations to your Shine account.

This allows you to:

  • Use one account and login for your different organisations

  • Access your organisations from one place

  • Easily switch between the organisations you manage

Business owners can add new organisations to their account themselves.

For organisations using a Cegid integration, multiple organisations belonging to the same business owner can also be created through Console, following the existing process.

Invite users through an accountant

Accountants can also help their clients manage access to their Shine organisation.

By connecting to a client's Shine account, accountants can invite additional users to the organisation. This makes it easier for accountants and their clients to collaborate with other users who need access to the organisation.

Create a new organisation without an existing organisation

If you are no longer attached to any organisation in Shine, you can create a new organisation instead of losing access to the platform.

This allows you to continue using Shine even when you are no longer connected to a previous organisation.
