At present, Shine does not accept cryptocurrency transactions. If you wish to carry out cryptocurrency transactions, we invite you to do so via your personal account.
Why does Shine not accept cryptocurrency transactions?
We are unable to accept activities directly related to cryptocurrencies (blockchain, mining, etc.), as this would require significant changes to our control procedures in order to meet our legal obligations.
These rules are relatively burdensome and complex for Shine to implement.
Nor is it possible to invest your clients’ funds on cryptocurrency platforms or to accept payments in cryptocurrencies into your Shine account. As these transactions are relatively risky (notably due to the possibility of significant losses), they conflict with the traditional management of a business account.
💡 We encourage our clients to use their personal accounts for this type of transaction.
However, we are obliged to tolerate the following transactions relating to the use of cryptocurrency:
The investment of our clients’ own funds in their personal cryptocurrency accounts;
Transactions relating to cryptocurrency investment advisory services.
